Stop War Planning and Start Peace Talks
August 2003
Women Making Peace and National Council for Peace
on the Korean Peninsula (South Korea) is making an international
appeal to oppose war provocation in Korea and to resolve the North
Korean issue by peaceful means. Recognising the tremendous positive
effect that the peace-loving peoples of the world have made in preventing
war, they are determined to cooperate with them to bring a peaceful
resolution to the current crisis as a way to contribute to building
a peaceful world. They are appealing to everyone to work together
for the world where peace and co-prosperity prevail over war threats.
To sign their petition, please email jglan21@yahoo.com or humanrights@korea.com, ensuring that you include your name, position, name
of your organisation, and your country and city.
