I N F O R M A T I O N Lets replace the call for weapon with call for peace, dialogue, cooperation and love. The resolution of each conflict is in our hearts and in our wisdom to avoid the violence and the weapon. We are referring to dialogue and socializing in order to find the solutions together, solutions that will be more justice and more democratic for all the citizens and ethnic groups in Republic of Macedonia. With this message the UWOM as non-governmental, non-party, multinational women's network in Republic of Macedonia is continuing with the everyday 15 minutes peaceful silence on the square Macedonia, beginning from 4:00 p.m to 4:15 p.m.

At the same time the PETITION FOR PEACE remains open, which the citizens can sign it every day from 9:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. in the premises of UWOM on st. 11 Oktomvri no. 17, across the City hospital. (Wed., March 14, 2001)

Women in Black
