The event will be opened by Joris Voorhoeve, Co-chair of the GPPAC Foundation Board, and one of the speakers will be Marjolein de Jong, the Alderman and Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of The Hague. It will include international speakers that will talk about the use of new media for peacebuilding, such as Michael Shank, US Vice President of the Institute of Economics and Peace.
The latest GPPAC publication People Building Peace 2.0 will also be presented, which is the result of a worldwide online contest on the Peace Portal.
