I am grateful to all my interlocutors, including National and Provincial authorities, the Autonomous Bougainville Government, representatives of civil society organisations, as well as representatives of the United Nations agencies and the donor community. Most importantly, I want to thank the individual women who courageously shared their personal experiences of violence and survival with me.
