WOMEN SUGGEST MAJOR DIVULGATION
OF CONSTITUTIONAL BILL
February 26, 2004 (Angola Press Agency - Luanda) The representative
commission for the participation of women in the revision of the
Constitution, gathered today, in Luanda, proposed as working methodology
the divulgation in pamphlets written in the counrty's vernacular
languages, the importance of this fundamental bill.
The group coordinated by the Minister of Family and Promotion of
Women, Cândida Celeste, and her deputy minister, Filomena
Delgado, includes representatives of various female associations,
political, religious and social groups, and has the mission to give
any suggestions to the constitutional commission of the National
Assembly and to the Bar Association, about women's worries concerning
the revision of the Constitution.
The National Assembly, for the past two years, has been working
on the elaboration of the future Constitutional Bill of Angola.
