TRAFFICKING RECOVERY IN CAMBODIA
June 1, 2005- (UNIAP) With a request of Protection of Juvenile Justice (PJJ) for intervention from the Department of Anti-Human Trafficking and Juvenile Protection (DAHTJP), a raid was done in Ponleu Thmey brothel in Koh Kong on June 01, 2005, freeing 13 girls who have been turned into prostitution.

August 16, 2004 - (Reuters) Dozens more Montagnard hilltribe people, many of them sick and exhausted, have emerged from the Cambodian jungle in recent days after fleeing neighbouring Vietnam, refugee groups said on Monday.

NEW BOOK REVEALS DRUG-FILLED SEX PARTIES ON U.N. MISSIONS
May 27, 2004 – (UN Wire) A tell-all book by two U.N. employees and one former U.N. staffer details regular drug-induced Friday night sex parties in Cambodia and peacekeeping forces comprised of convicts and mental-asylum inmates who were often drunk on assignment and raped local women at will, the Washington Times reports.

U.N. MISSIONS PAINTED AS BOOZE-SOAKED ORGIES
May 27, 2004 – (Washington Times) A book by three current and former U.N. employees about peacekeeping operations portrays wild parties with alcohol and drugs, and convicts and mental-asylum inmates passing as soldiers.

December 12, 2003 – (BBC) A soya milk factory opened this week in Cambodia, with the twin aims of employing disadvantaged women and providing a valuable food source.

CAMBODIA PROSECUTES 10 WOMEN FOR BEING ABDUCTED
November 6, 2003 - (WeNews) Earlier this month, 10 young Vietnamese women, who were allegedly smuggled into Cambodia to be sex slaves, were convicted of illegal immigration and deported back to Vietnam, according to the Chicago Tribune.

VICTIMS OF SEX TRAFFICKING IMPRISONED FOR IMMIGRATION VIOLATIONS
August 8 2002 - (Feminist.org) A Cambodian court found 10 Vietnamese girls, ages 12 to 18, guilty of illegal immigration to Cambodia, despite the fact that human rights activists and the women themselves claim the girls were smuggled into the country and forced into prostitution.

CAMBODIAN GOVERNMENT ARREST 14 TEENAGE SEX TRAFFICKING VISTIMS
June 27, 2002 – (Feminist.org) Cambodia’s Ministry of Interior’s Anti-Trafficking Unit arrested 14 Vietnamese girls they had earlier rescued during a sex trafficking raid in the nation’s capital of Phnom Penh. Following their rescue, the girls, who are between the ages of 12 and 18, stayed at a nongovernmental organization (NGO) shelter. However, last week, they were incarcerated under charges of violating Cambodian immigration laws.

YOUNG TRAFFICKING VICTIMS TREATED AS CRIMINALS
June 22, 2002 – (HRW) Fourteen Vietnamese girls who are alleged victims of trafficking were arrested by Cambodian authorities after they were rescued from a brothel in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Human Rights Watch said today.
