RUSSIANS KILLED 11 WOMEN IN THREE DAYS

February 3, 2003 – (KavkazCenter – Chechnya) They all were relatives either sister or wife, or mother of Chechen mujahideen. So on Thursday night, a group of invaders broke into the apartment of the sister of a well-known Chechen commander, Magomed Tsagarayev, who became shaheed in the past year, and she was taken as hostage. The young woman was called Seda, who lived together with her three years old daughter on the fifth floor in the five-storied building in the center of Urus-Martan. According to the report of the neighbors, when they took away mother, thrashing her with butts, the little girl ran after her on stairs.

One of the invaders gripped the girl and threw her out into the stairs span. According to the data on Saturday, three years old daughter of Seda Tsagarayeva was found in the emergency ward of the local urban hospital. According to the report of doctors, she is in critical condition. She has already lost her sight and can die at any moment.

Twenty-four hours earlier, on Wednesday night, Russian invaders took as hostages and drove away three women from the Goyti settlement. On the next day, they all were found dead not far from the village. The bodies of women were exploded. On the Friday night, Russian invaders took as hostages seven women in the settlement of Martan-Chu. There is no precise information about their fate. However, it is assumed that they have been kept in Khankala or already been killed. According to the unverified information, Seda Tsagarayeva has been killed. Local administration of the invaders issued unofficial information that they exploded her, while binding her to the artillery shell.

There are reports that the head of the local administration of invaders, Shirvani Yasayev spoke on Urus-martanov television and stated that he does not have control over Russians, and he can do nothing. He officially warned the inhabitants of Urus-Martan that he himself is absolutely powerless to control the situation and that similar actions will be continued. He called local residents to attempt to ensure safety of remaining some widows, sisters and mothers of Chechen soldiers, since local marionette authorities were not capable of undertaking anything.
