25 female police cadets complete foundation course

July 26, 2007 - (The Peninsula) Police institute celebrated 17th graduation ceremony of foundation course for 25 lady police cadets yesterday.

The course aimed at preparing the trainees to work as police practically, technically obeying the discipline and enhancing them with all legal and police information like military service law, Qatari prosecution law, preparing reports, public and human relations, criminal procedures law, protecting law and society, wireless communications and computer in addition to field trainings which included military and physical training and public lectures.

After recitation of Quranic verses, Brigadier Muhammed Hasan Yousuf Al Saee, Director of Police Institute welcomed the graduates mentioning the active role of Qatari women in the police service.

The Director praised the discipline showed by the participating lady cadets in the 17th batch and their strong concern to earn knowledge which will serve them to work as a police.

He congratulated the graduates on their high score in the examination results and wished them success.

He also honoured the rank holders of the 17th batch and distributed certificates for graduates. Lulua Majid Dhawi Faraj Moosa, Hanan yousuf Mahmood Salim Al Ali and Ziyadah Mubarak Dahham Rami Al Muhannadi bagged the first three ranks with distinction.

Suad Muhammed Ubaid Al Salih Al Kamah won the award for best military cadet while Fathimah Abdul Rahman Abdullah Al Ghazal won the cup in the sports excellence and Sana Abdul Qadir Rajab Al Athawi won the best student award. The patron of the graduation ceremony honoured Abeer Khalil Al Khathir with a gift considering her sincere efforts during the course.
