As a PeaceWomen Security Council Monitor Fellow, you will work alongside staff, fellows, and interns to strive towards the full and rapid implementation of Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security. You will attend and monitor debates and events at United Nations Headquarters, report on women, peace and security issues, and create resources that enable women peace leaders around the world to hold their governments accountable on commitments and strengthen implementation and change. 

After PeaceWomen, past member of our team have continued on to do other exciting work, such as:

  • Work for the NGO Working Group on Women, Peace and Security
  • Co-author a report on domestic violence in India
  • Work at the Chatham House
  • Assist with a report on detention conditions and the death penalty in Japan
  • Work with the Global Justice Center to help develop legal arguments regarding the deliberate transmission of HIV in armed conflict
  • Work as a Communications Coordinator at the Center for Migration Studies
  • And so much more!
