The International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an UN institution providing policy advice and financing to members in economic difficulties and also works with developing nations to help them achieve macroeconomic stability and reduce poverty. 
Since 1995, the IMF under limited circumstances provides emergency assistance to countries afflicted by armed conflicts, if sufficient capacity for planning and policy implementation nevertheless exists but the development has been hindered by the conflict. 
Women, Peace and Security
In every IMF Poverty Reduction Strategy Paper at national level there are sections especially concerned with women's development and gender equality. Also under the tap "other documents" there are gender related reports from IMF. Accept for that, according to PeaceWomen's research, IMF has not published any specific action plans on Women, Peace and Security.
