The PeaceWomen Voices Section allows us to bring voices of many women from around world to PeaceWomen.org users. An important part of PeaceWomen’s advocacy role has been the collaborative relationships that PeaceWomen has fostered in the UN, government and civil society sectors. PeaceWomen Voices will be a space to amplify the voices of women in the field.
PeaceWomen, as a project of WILPF, is part of a long history of engagement with the UN and with the larger gender equality and women, peace and security sphere. WILPF’s institutional memory of engagement and advocacy and it longstanding ECOSOC accreditation, provides a resource for and informs the work of the PeaceWomen Project.
