NGO ADVOCACY TOOLBOX
NGO Committee on the Status of Women Taskforce on Womens
Equal Participation to Achieve Peace and Security
Commission on the Status of Women, 48th Session, 1-12 March 2004
CSW
48th Session Index
The NGO Committee on the Status of Women Taskforce
on Womens Equal Participation to Achieve Peace and Security
prepared this NGO Advocacy Toolbox to serve as a helpful
resource for NGOs participating in the Commission on the Status
of Women (CSW) on Theme #2: Womens equal participation
in conflict prevention, management and conflict resolution and in
post-conflict peace-building.
This Toolbox was produced to serve as a foundation that could be
built upon to create a more effective toolbox for our work on women,
peace and security issues continuing beyond CSW. To complement the
material in this Toolbox, the Taskforce made other resources available
in UN Conference Room B as well as in the Womens International
League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF), UN Office during the two weeks
of CSW.
