The UN is on 1st Avenue, opposite East 44, 45, 46, and 47th Streets. It is on the East Side of Manhattan on the 1st Avenue of many avenues. Please be very clear when booking a hotel about how far it is – walking, taxi, subway – from the UN. The nearest subway is East 42nd Street Grand Central, which is about 8-10 mins walk from the UN. There are many buses that run near to the UN as well.
