Sweden and Uruguay, as Co-Chairs of the Informal Expert Group on Women and Peace and Security, and in close cooperation with the United Kingdom, convened a meeting on the situation in the Central African Republic, following a visit of the Secretary-General to the country and amid negotiations for the renewal of the United Nations peacekeeping mission.
