Women's Major Group 2019 Position Paper to the High Level Political Forum

In the lead up to the High Level Political Forum (HLPF) WILPF is advocating for SDG implementation in a way that works for women in conflict in partnership with our coalition, the Women’s Major Group (WMG). We know that we are stronger together, when we raise our voices with a unified message. In this spirit, we are pleased to announce that we have released our position paper for the HLPF. This paper will serve as the launchpad for our advocacy surrounding the HLPF, ensuring the power of our collective action. In this paper, we identify and assess the obstacles to feminist peace and outline our recommendations for overcoming them and realising the transformative intent of the SDG Agenda.
