Association for Women's Rights in Development

Greetings from AWID!

We are delighted to announce the launch of our new AWID website - http://www.awid.org/ - as part of our continued efforts to provide a robust hub of information on women's human rights.

The new website provides streamlined access to information in English, Spanish and French including thousands of articles on a wide range of women's human rights issues, in-depth analysis, practical tools to support women's rights activism, and daily news on women's rights around the world.

Simplified navigation, classification of content (by topic, by region, by AWID initiative, by type of content), and advanced search functions make the site easy to use. In addition, users can look for jobs in the field of women's human rights and gender and development online; stay updated about AWID's work; sign up to our weekly newsletters of jobs, announcements and analysis and become an AWID member online.

The website also offers an increased level of interactivity. Users can now comment on articles, share views with other readers, and forward interesting articles to colleagues and friends. All articles contain links to social networking sites.

In line with the launch of our new website, AWID's weekly e-newsletters in English, Spanish and French - Resource-Net, Carrefour and enLACes - have a new format designed to make the information easier to read and share with colleagues and friends.

These new look e-newsletters contain information specifically designed for young feminist activists so please do encourage young people in your networks to sign up.

Please tell us about your experiences in using the new website and e-newsletters by emailing us at contact@awid.org. We look forward to engaging with you online!
