The purpose of the course is to give added knowledge about and preparation for applying UNSC resolution 1325 for you who in your work deal with gender and conflict. In addition to putting the resolution into its legal and historical framework the course will offer tools to manage the challenges you are faced with in the field when working with gender issues.

Location Sida Partnership Forum, Härnösand, Sweden

Target group This is a course for personnel within Swedish NGOs, government officials, consultants as well as those with corporate connections who in their assignments have the potential to integrate the aim of resolution 1325 – about women, peace and security.

Requirements for participating Understanding of gender issues related to conflict resolution and/or development work.
