“In our fight against human trafficking, the Government has spared no effort in combating this heinous and inhumane crime by adopting several laws, regulations and national action plans to combat trafficking in persons and becoming signatory to numerous regional Agreements and MOUs, including the ASEAN Convention Against Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children, that seek to prevent and combat human trafficking.”

Therefore, we need to maintain and promote peace and security at all costs.” “My delegation is of concern on the lack of progress on the Palestinian issue. We hope that this long overdue issue on Palestine will be resolved by peaceful means in order to achieve a twostate solution where Palestine and Israel can live side by side in peace, security and within internationally recognized borders as stipulated in the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions.”
