The Mozambican MP, Luísa Diogo, was impressed on Sunday in Luanda by the process of integration of Angolan women in politics.


The Angolan women's participation in the parliament rose from 12 per cent to the current 38 per cent.


Speaking to the press at Luanda's 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, assessing the forum of the Women's International Democratic Federation (WIDF), Luísa Diogo highlighted the female participation in the government which is currently of 30 per cent.


The Mozambican MP congratulated Angolans on holding the 2nd Regional Conference of the Women International Democratic Federation (WIDF) on Thursday and Friday, as well as on the giant steps taken towards development.


Luísa Diogo has already occupied the post of Prime Minister, among other jobs.
