The General Committee took note of the resolutions of the General Assembl y on the revitalization of its work, the annex to resolution 51/241, entitled “Strengthening of the United Nations system”, and resolution 57/301, entitled “Amendment to rule 1 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly and opening date and duration of the general debate”, the provisions of which are reflected in the present document under the relevant sections.
