Women's Major Group Response to Addis Ababa Action Agenda

The Third International Conference on Financing for Development concluded on July 16, 2015 with the production of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, a plan for generating necessary financing for implementing the Sustainable Development Goals. The Women's Major Group is deeply disappointed with the lack of human rights and gender equality language in the FFD outcome.

Gender and Peace Analysis: 22-25 June 2015 Post-2015 Negotiations on the Zero Draft Outcome Document

On 22-25 June 2015, Member States participated in Intergovernmental Negotiations regarding the Zero Draft Outcome Document produced by the co-facilitators. This document will guide the UN Summit to Adopt the Post-2015 Agenda in September. There will be another round of Negotiations 20-24 and 26-31 of July to finalize the Outcome Document. 

Statement of Women's Major Group - June 2015 IGN

On June 24, 2015, the Women's Major Group gave the following statement at the Intergovernmental Negotiations on Post-2015 meeting with Major Groups and stakeholders. The statement was in response to the Zero Draft Outcome Document on the Post-2015 Agenda, issued by the co-facilitators as a guide for the UN Summit to Adopt the Post-2015 Agenda in September.
