The first Angolan conference on Women and Domestic Violence will happen on July 3 in Luanda, under the leadership of the Ministry of Family and Women Promotion (Minfamu) and Banco Espírito Santo Angola (BESA) bank.

According to a press release from the organisers of the event sent to ANGOP, the conference will count on the participation of a delegation from Brazil and representatives from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The conference will have as lecturers national and foreign experts, as well as senior representatives of Minfamu, which will address current topics of national interest and, among others, on gender equality, legislation, victims support services and the role of the family.
