Monday 5th November
Croke Park Conference Centre, Cusack Suite, Dublin
Officially opened by: President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins

Hanna's House are calling on the British and Irish Governments to create shared or co-operative National Action Plans on women, peace and security (UNSCR 1325) to ensure that the obligations of the resolution on member states are implemented through the institutions of the Belfast/Good Friday Peace Agreement on an all-Ireland basis. Currently, the British NAP has no reference to the conflict nor women's experience of the conflict on these islands, and the Irish NAP while acknowledging the conflict makes only minimal reference to women's needs in the post conflict situation.
