Liberia has been devastated by years of civil war. In the few places where education is available, the priority for families is on educating boys. This education fund will supplement the costs for females seeking to finish their schooling and pursue post-secondary education opportunities, preparing them to contribute to rebuilding Liberia.

This project will support women's efforts to improve their skills and further their education by supplementing their tuition costs. Recipients will pursue courses that prepare them to play a role in the economic, social, and political development of Liberia. Women's participation is critical to a peaceful future for Liberia.

Women must have access to education in order to advocate for their needs and influence decisions in their country. They currently require $11,000 to carry out this project;
