The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation together with the Fiji Women's Crisis Centre is organizing an anti-rape concert on Tuesday the 26th of June.
FBC Event Coordinator Ronny Kumaran says the aim of the concert is to help raise awareness and stop rape.
“This is a concert where we would like to bring awareness to the people on the negativity of rape that is happening in our community. Women are getting affected – children are getting affected. They are always victims. We tend to forget about the future of children who are victimized by these acts and the effect it has on their future.”
The concert will be held at Sukuna Park and will begin from mid-day to 7pm.
