Iranian Vice-President Fatemeh Bodaqi in a meeting with the Afghan parliament's female lawmakers stressed the necessity for the Muslim societies to improve the position of women to serve as a role model for western countries.
During the meeting in Kabul on Saturday, Bodaqi also lauded Afghan competent women and their constructive presence in social affairs of the country.
She said that the ways that Islamic Republic of Iran passed in the field of women issues are similar to experiences which Afghan women are going through now.
She added that current world political and social models cannot answer human needs and in Europe and the US, there would be a need for a new government model to fulfill people's principal needs.
Referring to existing capacities in women to administer a society, she said that neglecting women capacities in every society would be a big mistake.
Bodaqi added that western women are still facing many problems.
Islamic societies now should prove that women can be successful in social arena as well as being a successful spouse, mother and a manager in the society.
She referred to constructive role of women members of parliament and said that they have two duties of lawmaking and supervision on government performance.
Bodaqi expressed Iran's readiness for cooperation in all fields, especially in the field of women and holding common sessions and exchanging experiences.
