Interlocutors for Jammu and Kashmir, currently holding a women's' conference in Srinagar to understand the viewpoint of half of state's population scattered in three regions, have decided to set up a virtual platform to help them interact frequently.
"There was a lively discussion on the political contours of a solution, with divergent aspirations expressed by the three regions and the different political formations," the interlocutors said in a statement after a two-day conclave. "It was heartening to hear the flexibility that women displayed in finding common ground." They said the spirit of give-and-take can provide the basis of a permanent solution.
