The party elections of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are being held in Lahore today. Ayla Malik and Dr Munazza are seen as strong candidates for the post of women wing president after documents of Fauzia Kasuri got rejected due to her holding of dual nationality.

Talking to newsmen, Fauzia Kasuri said that she has now submitted her oath statement for leaving dual nationality to the party election commission, adding that she couldn't submit before due to her foreign party meetings.

Meanwhile, Javed Hashmi, Umer Sarfraz Cheema and Dr Sania are contesting for the slot of central president while Dr Arif Alvi, Pervez Khattak and Rashid Khan are electing for the position of party's central general secretary.

The elections will continue till 3PM today at Aiwan-e-Iqbal in Lahore.
