Platform Women & Sustainable Peace: Women, Peace, Security: Implementing Resolution 1325

This brochure was written by members of the Dutch Platform Women & Sustainable Peace, to promote resolution 1325 from the perspective of civil society. This resolution is about strengthening women's participation in the prevention and solution of armed conflicts, in peace building and to protect women and girls from gender-based violence, in particular rape as a weapon of war. This brochure is one of the tools with which the platform wants to contribute to ‘women and sustainable peace'.
