Power and Danger: Feminist Engagement with International Law Through the UN Security Council

The contention that feminists now 'walk the halls of power' in international law, in light of the UN Security Council's adoption of four thematic resolutions on Women, Peace and Security is discussed. The content of feminist ideas is reshaped to serve the institution in the processes of institutionalization for creating productive footholds for feminist ideas, which need to be critically engaged with and reappropriated for the political purposes of feminism.
