In accordance with its multi-year programme of work (ECOSOC resolution 2009/15), the Commission's two-week session will include the following activities. Please see below.

CSW Briefing

The Chair of the Commission on the Status of Women, Her Excellency Marjon V. Kamara (Liberia), will hold a second informal briefing to provide updates on the preparations for the fifty-seventh session of the Commission on the Status of Women on Monday, 11 February 2013, from 13:15 to 14:30, in Conference Room 1 (NLB). All interested delegations and representatives of non-governmental organizations are invited to attend.

Stakeholders' Forum: Preventing and Eliminating Violence Against Women

The primary focus of the Commission on the Status of Women's fifty seventh session in March 2013 will be the “Elimination and prevention of all forms of violence against women and girls".
