PRIO, the Center for the Study of Civil Wars (CSCW) at PRIO and the World Bank have the pleasure of inviting you to a seminar on Gender and Conflict Research.

Purpose: To develop a common understanding of the purpose and importance of SC Res 1325 on Women and Peace and Security and to understand how it contributes to reducing violence against women and girls, and to ensuring human security. This meeting will prepare for a parallel event at the 55th CSW session in Feb-March, 2011 to which all co sponsors will recruit participants.
