Women Count: UN Security Council Resolution 1325 Civil Society Monitoring Report

Free Advancing Women Peacemakers Workshop and Panel

The UC Santa Barbara Gevirtz School – along with the Department of Feminist Studies, African Research Focus Group, and the Women's Center – will co-sponsor, with event host the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) CA Branch, an Advancing Women as Peacemakers Workshop at 1160 Phelps Hall, UCSB on October 19 at 4 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

From the Field to the UN Security Council: Evidence-Based Recommendations for Improving Women, Peace and Security Implementation

This event will bring together experts from the field and from the policy arena in New York to discuss recent research and policy options to improve implementation of the Security Council's resolutions on Women, Peace and Security.
